Start with a phone call, not a repair bill
You don't need to get it running just to ask
A boat or RV can become hard to use long before you decide to sell it. The tow vehicle may be gone, the motor may not start, or the next storage payment may be coming up. Tell me what you own, where it is, and what you know about its condition.
I review boats, motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers for purchase in Central Florida. This is a direct conversation about buying your unit, not a listing service, storage rental or repair estimate. Not every unit will be a purchase; condition, ownership and safe removal all matter.
Do not pay for repairs or arrange a tow solely for my review before we speak. You do not need every specification to call, and it is fine to say you don't know when something last worked.
A useful first conversation
Tell me these four things
- What you're selling. Boat, motorhome, fifth wheel or travel trailer, plus the year and make if known.
- Where it is. City and whether it is at a storage facility, marina, RV park or private property.
- What needs attention. How long it has been sitting, whether it runs or rolls, and known leaks, damage or missing parts.
- When you want to sell. Mention a move-out date, storage renewal or other deadline before we discuss pickup.

Before collection is agreed
The storage location changes the pickup plan
RVs, fifth wheels and campers
Tell me if the tires are flat, the slides are stuck, the landing gear does not work, or a deck or skirting is attached. Include gate hours and whether the office needs notice before a unit leaves. Don't try to move an unsafe camper or disconnect utilities just to prepare for an offer.
Use the fifth-wheel page for truck-bed hitch and landing-gear details, or the travel-trailer page for bumper-pull campers. If it has roof leaks or soft floors, see selling a water-damaged RV.
Boats at a marina, storage lot or on private property
Tell me the approximate length, motor condition and whether a trailer is included. A boat in the water, on a lift, in a dry-storage rack or on blocks needs a different plan from one on a roadworthy trailer. Share any launch, lift or office arrangements that could affect access.
See selling a boat without a trailer or the main boat-selling page. Pickup is arranged after we agree on the purchase and the practical details.
Ownership and any storage balance
Let me know if you have the title, if a lender is involved, or if you are handling an estate. If a facility says a balance or release is needed, discuss it with the office and tell me before arranging pickup. Do not assume a purchase automatically clears those obligations.
Davenport based
Selling from storage in Central Florida
Start with your city. I review seller requests in Davenport, Haines City, Winter Haven, Lakeland, Kissimmee, Orlando and Tampa. Location, condition and access determine whether a purchase and pickup make sense; call before making arrangements for a unit farther away.
Storage managers and family members are welcome to help connect me with the owner or authorized seller. This page is for owners looking to sell, not authorization to remove someone else's boat or RV.
Once the price, ownership paperwork and pickup plan are agreed, we can discuss the next step. You remain free to decline an offer.
Ready to stop storing it and discuss selling?
Tell Niko what you have, its city and how long it has been sitting. No repairs needed just to start the conversation.
